Dragonborn Warrior

A brief background of Tarnish-Lo or Ish for short.

Ish is a direct descendent of the Dragon God Lo and was raised in the mystical and powerful Draconic deity, Bahumut. This ancient deity is named after its leader and son of Lo- Bahumut-the-vindicator the platinum dragon or leader of the good dragons. Bahumut belongs to the pantheon of D&D Gods and to all the old souls who have read the ancient scrolls of Dragonlance, know that he has a counterpart, Palidine himself. Ish and his brethren mainly inhabit the militarized kingdom of Tymanther having migrated from the land of Abeir, the continent that has replaced Matizca during the Spell-Plague.

Many of the dragonborn raised in the Forgotten Realms have a deep hatred for true dragons and Ish is no exception. For in their past world of Abeir they fought terrible wars against the massive and vicious flame throwers losing countless members of their clan, causing them to flee to the kingdom of Tymanther. Ish himself, only a young dragonborn at the time of these struggles proved himself worthy and a honorable foe by thwarting the attack of two adult Dragons; Metamorphoses and Blade Licker. These treacherous, villainous creatures carried a deep rooted vendetta against Ish’s father (but that is a different story). Early one crisp fall morning and with the help of a turncoat that had infiltrated Ish’s family lair posing as a needy farmhand, Metamorphoses and Blade Licker were able to compromise the compound’s formidable defenses undetected and feasted upon the sleeping family. Ish, who was returning home from a successful quest discovering the blades of Artemis* hidden in Jade’s quagmire, found the dragons sucking their claws clean of his family’s flesh. The two evil dragons, drunk from the victory of success and poisoned by an ancient spell cast upon intruders who were to dim to detect the trap were no match for the Ish, his newly acquired magical steel and his blind rage. Blade Licker, who took on the brunt of the sacred spell and was the weaker of the two dragons was ultimately slaughtered by Ish who cut him down again and again. The enraged dragonborn would not stop until this devil dragon lied in front of him, scattered into severed pieces of scale, bone and flesh. Blade Licker’s claws thrashed widely as he was being cut down to scraps scarring Ish across his forehead and down his right cheek in the shape of a scythe. Ish named this scar vengeance and some say it begins to glow a deep red and blue as his rage builds and enemies near .

Unfortunately Metamorphoses was able to elope into the dense surrounding forest and disappear. For the past decade Ish has searched for this miscreant and vows to chop off his head and tail and make an incredible meal out of these appendages and to dine on these dragon parts in front of his families crypt

the blades of artemis came in quite handy during this battle and without them the young dragborn would have surely been defeated

this scar acts as a warning devise and has saved Ish countless times from sneak attacks

*it is said that if a dragonborn feasts upon his natural enemy, a true dragon, he acquires strange powers of strength, spell laced with evil.
